As a Northern California native, Dana grew up surrounded by the natural beauty and splendor of the Golden State which is reflected in her artistic style. Raised by artistic parents, Dana spent her childhood immersed in the artisan community. As an artisan herself, Dana has always been involved in various media – whether through painting, working with stained glass or creating interior designs. |

Dana began crafting jewelry as a hobby initially designing pieces for family and friends. After taking several classes on silver jewelry design, Dana’s talent quickly blossomed. Friends, family and strangers began complimenting her on her unique design style and asking how to purchase the jewelry. Dana took the praise as validation to sell her jewelry at home parties where she quickly sold-out and realized this could turn into a viable business opportunity. With the support of family and friends, Dana recently launched Dana J. Designs online.
Dana has an appreciation of the innate beauty and colors found in nature, which reflects throughout her jewelry collection.
